John LongoChief Investment Officer and Head of Capital Markets

John Longo serves as Chief Investment Officer and Head of Capital Markets at Capodagli Property Company, where his main focus is structuring and underwriting all new investments. John also originates and raises all financing opportunities on both the permanent and construction side of the capital stack. John has continued to propel forward the exponential growth path that CPC is on through his strategic financing placement and intuitive deal structuring.

John joined Capodagli Property Company in 2017 after spending three successful years working as an analyst for Empire Capital and a Broker for VCPRE. In both scenarios, John’s major focus was underwriting complex deals and creating solutions to multifaceted debt/equity structures. His background is in the commercial and hospitality finance divisions, where approving equity injections for real estate acquisitions was one of his chief accountabilities. John has a strong passion for real estate and finding different ways to achieve higher yields through development and financing. He was just named “30 under 30” in the 2018 Mid Atlantic Real Estate Journal.

John holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from West Virginia University and is currently in the process of acquiring his Master’s Degree in Real Estate from New York University. He is an avid golfer, loves to travel, and enjoys spending most of his free time being active outdoors.
