Capodagli Property Company was the first developer to enter the city of Hackensack, successfully redeveloping 100 State St. (Meridia Hackensack 100: Metro), which sparked the creation of over 4,000 apartments in the city. Impressed by our progress, the city encouraged us to pursue additional redevelopment projects.
2014
March
Meridia identifies another lot suitable for redevelopment.
June
The property is put under contract.
2015
January
The city council adopts a resolution designating the property as an Area in Need of Redevelopment.
August
The council approves a redevelopment plan.
2016
April
Meridia receives final approval for a 106-unit multi-family building that includes a restaurant.
2017
May
Demolition begins.
July
All land contracts are closed.
2019
May
Meridia obtains a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy for the building and begins leasing.
2020
June
Meridia on Main achieves 95% occupancy.
